I have to evacuate!

My bowels!!!!

No really we got stingy eyes and sore throats. It seemed to get a little stingier as we drove up the hill from a trip to the market. Stay inside.

Alright already! Sometimes when you don't go to a place for awhile you forget how awesome it really is. I just finished a whole rack of babybacks from Phil's BBQ Rib Super Store on Sports Arena Blvd. and it was BETTER than it really is!! Go, go, go get some!!!! I never tried the mac salad til now and it rocks too. I love this place! mighty

Okay now! You'all know our C.D. release is Jun.14th @ Brick by Brick. Well, well, well the foofoo restaurant next door has been joyously reborn as Frankie "The Bull's" Barbcue!!!! It rocks! I had the pulled pork sam and it was Great! It comes with crispy cajun fries that are addictive and coleslaw that was some of the tastiest I've ever devoured! The gumbo (are you listening Joey?) is the REAL DEAL! Shrimp, chicken, andouille sausage, secret stuff and all! They make cornbread in a muffin style and it has slivers of jalapeno and real corn inside. and it is *^&%$#@()%@++^$ insanely awesome, moist, creamy, delicious! The shrimp Po'boys are tres bien ! And yes folks, the poke ribs are wicked! They do them lower and slower than Phil's ,which makes them smokier tasting and ridiculously tender! The sauce seems a little thin and tart until you put it on the ribs and the combined flavors go mental in your mouth!!! Oh yeah, they have a Wall of Fame. All you have to do is eat the "Trough" whichis 1/2 rack pork ribs, 4 beef bones, 1/2 smoked chicken, smoked salmon, 2 sides + cornbread. I hope to be on the wall before the 14th! If you don't see me in the Brick, I'll be at Frankie "The Bull's" ! Mighty Joe

I may have to check this place out before the show on the 14th.

While in Memphis last August I decided to check out the Rendezvous. Been wanting to go there for over 20 years since hearing John Hiatt sing its praises. The lamb riblets were so good that I think my tastebuds had multiple orgasams. I had 2 orders of them. The pork shoulder sandwich and the sausage appetizer were pretty darn good too. But the pork ribs were a let down. Too much rub and overcooked and dry by my standards. The sauce was ok. All in all I would go there again, but certainly not for the pork ribs.
