In the summer of ‘89, Country Dick Montana mounted a tour with some other distinguished hooligans: former Blaster and ex-X axeman Dave Alvin, and the perpetually irreverent Mojo Nixon. On the record, Country Dick takes a stab at croonin’ Bo Diddley’s “Who Do You Love,” Johnny Cash’s “Jackson,” R.B. Greaves’ “Take a Letter Maria,” and Dick’s own magnum opus “The Definitive Tom Jones Medley. Joey caused trouble as well on this one-off musical experiment.
